Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Anyone got any recommendations for nice little hotels or B&B's anywhere scenic in Ireland. I do a bit of solo weekender trips and Im always on the hunt for new scenic little places to stay that are cheap and cosy with nice views and great biking roads !

I recently did the Antrim coast and stayed in a cracking little B&B called "The Village B&B" in Cushendall. Amazing little pub accross the road from it and one of the best roads in Ireland going from Larne to Cushendall !!

    Thanks:D

Glad you enjoyed the coast road in my neck of the woods - I'll be using it to head down to the Quay Vipers rally tomorrow!

Went to Mayo a few weeks ago for a spin, really enjoyed the coastal stretch from Ballycastle to Belmullet and heading down the Aughleam peninsula (the roads after Belmullet are great, by the way - far better than I expected they'd be for somewhere so remote). We were booked into a B&B outside Murrisk (just beyond Westport) called Bertra House, more or less at the foot of Croagh Patrick. It's half a mile off the main road with great views across the bay as well as up the other direction to the mountain behind. Great place to look around when you're loading up for the next day's riding! Price was 35 yoyos each, and after scooting round Achill we sent a text when we realised that we were gonna be a lot later than the check-in deadline of 7pm - the landlady was cool about us arriving just before 10pm, even made us a bit of supper and all. Would go back there for sure.
