    I need a relay or contactor that will break a cable on the loss of power and then close again a second or so later.

    Its for an alarm, when mains power fails the alarm switchs to battery but there is a problem with the system which can be over come by disconnecting and reconnecting the battery, when this is done the system restarts fully armed operating on the battery backup until mains power is restored.

    How or what do I need to break battery supply on loss of mains power for a second or two and then reconnect it.(without mains power)
