Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

BOI does not appear to have a Self Service Lobby/Branch on the south side of Dublin City Centre. For example, if I walk down Grafton Street all the other banks have one with the exception of Ulster Bank's which is around the corner on Suffolk Street. What is even more amazing is that your 'Mortgage Store' shop on the end if Grafton Street has been sitting empty for four years now, while one assumes BOI has being paying Rent & Rates on it all this time. The only options are College Green, which is no good as it is only open banking hours or crossing over to O'Connell Street, while open longer than banking hours is not 24 Hours like some of the other banks.

When is the money (including lost growth) Michael Noonan took in the Pension Levy going to be paid back?

    Hi Tow,

We'll need to follow this up for you and get some more information. As soon as we have anything, we'll post back here.

    Have a good weekend,
    Graham

    Hi Tow,

The O'Connell Street self service lobby is open 8am-6:30pm Monday-Friday, and 9am-5pm weekends and bank holidays.

While there's no self service lobby on the south side of Dublin city, the area is well serviced with other branches including ones on Baggot Street, Westland Row, Camden Street and St. Stephen's Green. There are also a number of Bank of Ireland ATMs in the area, which can be found using our ATM/Branch Locator here or on our mobile banking app.

    Thanks,
    Graham

Never knew this - where on O' Connell Street is the lobby?

    Hi BOI,
Will the "Enterprise Lounge" on Grafton Street have Self Service Lobby with lodgement faculties?

When is the money (including lost growth) Michael Noonan took in the Pension Levy going to be paid back?

    Hi Tow,

The Enterprise Lounge provides business start ups and entrepreneurs with a space to access free wi-fi, do some work, meet business clients, avail of meeting space and a presentation area. There will be seminars and business clinics scheduled to provide advice and support to small businesses. There will not be branch services available in the Enterprise Lounge and no cash onsite. College Green, Stephens Green, O’Connell Street and Baggot Street are the surrounding branches that will provide branch services.

    Thanks

    Billy

    Hi,

You can indeed look at the branch details there but they provide no information confirming the presence of such a lobby and on calling the bank I got a customer service agent who had no idea, couldn't find the information and put me through to the Branch where I got voice-mail!!

If BoI employees cannot find the information how on earth are the customers expected to.

We are not all in locations, jobs or positions where we can just 'pop' out to the bank during the day. It seems to me ridiculous that we have to rely on boards  to access information that the bank could and should provide itself!! As the Bank likes to remind us constantly there are charges for theses services, well lets see some actual service in that case!!

    Good Afternoon Tow,

Thank you for getting in touch.

The Enterprise Lounge at 2 Grafton Street Dublin 2 was closed at 2.30pm on Thursday the 22nd December 2016 as the lease was due to expire. This closure would have been communicated to all customers via email prior to 22nd.

We do have three alternative workbenches in Dublin located in the following areas:

The Grand Canal workbench is located at 1 Grand Canal square, Docklands and it is open daily from 8am to 6pm, from 8am to 8pm on Thursdays and also from 9am to 1pm on Saturdays.

The Trinity College workbench is located on the Trinity College campus beside the science gallery and it is open Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm.

Finally the Montrose workbench is located at University Branch, Stillorgan Road, Montrose, Dublin 4 and is open from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday.

For more information on these workbenches just click here

I hope this helps and if you need anything else, just let me know.

    Elaine
