Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Anyone know which would be the best radio station for Olympic drama and news???

BBC RADIO 5 Live on 909 MW (Medium Wave), that's if you have MW/AM on your radio, I certainly do in my car.

wasnt it established back in the 1800s when the olympics began?

Yeah, the only event specifically designed FOR the Olympics.

those 'laser' guns would be feic all use in a warzone however.

It seems the natural progression is to have olympic paintballing instead :D

Modern Pentathlon use to be the sport of gentleman but its really the sport of the Hollywood Casting Agent these days. Actors have to know most of these skills.

They modernised it a little, they dropped the peasants as moving targets for the shooting part.

Dreadfully. Now that the pentathlon has been settled, when does the flower arranging get underway?

All this talk of hangovers and "cans". I'm on the dry the last few weeks but would love to hoist up a few cold ones with the boxing, but can't :(

Expect me to be trying to make sense of your incoherent ramblings in a few hours.

    Come on MO - BBC1 now . . . .

Maybe a bridge too far to take the double?

Don't worry, I'll pick up an extra 6 pack at the offie and have them for you

Does Mo really have a chance in the 5000m? His heat time was 11s off the top guy. His SB and PB are several seconds off the Ethiopians.

Added to the all thats happened in the last week since he won the 10k, it seems unrealistic to expect a medal here.
