Oh my word this time tomorrow it's finished. Don't know what to say really, "sure there's always 4 years" but there really isn't, there will never EVER be a games like this. Feel priviledged to have seen it and my only regret is I didn't get to experience any of it first hand.

I'll come up with my personal highlights tomorrow ha!

My thoughts exactly. I think I might cry a little during the closing ceremony

Rio's just not going to be the same. It'll be around 1.30/2am here around the time of the 100m/200m races.

Phew that sixteen days flew by and I loved every minute of it. It was great games and definately the best olympic games I have ever witnessed, and I can remember quite a few the athletics, swimming, rowing, sailing, cycling, boxing, etc was all great. Thank God there were no scares, no trouble, no security issues either, possibly thanks to the army making an appearance. Really loking forward to the closing ceremony too . . .

I remember when they played Marlay Park with a few other bands in 2007, the lead singer's mic didn't work. Good times.
