Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Why oh Why do they have to do those songs live, with the artists vitality and voices gone.

    OK this is better.

The standard of singing has been terrible so far. Also, the choice of acts that have performed so far has been questionable.

I'm half expecting Jedward or some other washed up x-factor contestant to be trotted out.

I'm really not getting this... it's just more of the same retro celebrity orientated navel gazing that we saw in the opening ceremony.

Suppose to be a celebration of british music, which makes me wonder wtf one direction are doing on it.

Is it cruel to be waiting for some ejit to fall off a moving truck while singing?

    From Mullingar to the olympics.....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,930 ✭✭✭Jimoslimos

Well we can safely say that 99% of the budget went on the opening ceremony

    I love the miniature London.

Why do they speak French before speaking in Engish?

Same as with all the medal ceremonies and everything....French is the language of the Olympics

Apparently not. I thought so too

In fairness you aren't meant to like 100% of it.
If you like 100% of it the chances are your Grandma hates 100% of it.

    I think it's decent enough.
