Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I've updated the Irish Abroad football statistics site I run with the latest transfers for Irish players and I run a live blog on matchday with the lineups, and all goals, red and yellow cards updated in real time here: http://irish-abroad.appspot.com/Live

If you're on twitter, the goals, red & yellow cards will be posted to the @irish_abroad Twitter account with the hashtags #YBIG and #FAI: http://www.twitter.com/#!/irish_abroad

New this season is the facebook page that will be updated automatically with all goals as they go in. Click Like here: https://www.facebook.com/irishfootballstatisics?ref=hl
I did consider posting the bookings and red cards to facebook, as in the twitter feed, but that would just flood your newsfeed on matchday

As always, if you notice anything wrong, just let me know and I'll resolve it as soon as I can

It is what it is, I've no problem with the blog, bit hard to navigate maybe, just found the Pats entry funny.

No, I've had a look at the thing a few times. No doubt if Arsenal Kiev had 3 Irish players, they'd all have been included, and no doubt there was 1 Irish player in there to avoid having to put down 'No Irish players' like in the others.

The LOI Blog - http://theleagueofirelandblog.blogspot.ie/ - do a far better job than me on LOI teams in Europe, so I leave LOI teams alone.

Lineups starting to appear on the live blog after a few early opening day jitters - http://irish-abroad.appspot.com/Live
