Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    I was tempted to because of some of the technical bugs affecting the new format, but sure why bother reverting back to the old one when its only a matter of time until we have no choice to use the updated version

    Somehow I don't believe you. Not sure why.


    I changed back to the old style after a few min of use. Prefer the old home age and the Boards characters that have been there for years. The new home page is too bland and boring. Also, can't beat the Cloud skin.

    Should be at the bottom under forum skin, I think the default one is the new one. OR at least I hope so since that's what I'm using.

    Thats the Facebook attitude.

    I choose the interface that I like best, boards, Facebook and elsewhere. If a service, be it website or other says I have 'no choice', then I stop using their service.

    I am using the old theme because I like it more than the new.

    You literally stop noticing it after 24 hours in my experience.

    I had to focus for a second to recall whether I am using the new or old skin ; it's the new one, but I find the functionality the same ; no better, no worse.

    I like the new skin. Don't really know why. I haven't noticed any big change and it just looks more modern I suppose.

    Yeah, same as. I tried switching back to the old look, for the banter, discovered it was worse than I remembered, not better and then spent ten minutes trying to figure out how to switch back to the new look. New look has grown on me.

    I always used the black background and white text before and have just changed back temporarily to it now and I miss it. But that's all I miss, other than that, I prefer the new layout.

    If it's not broke don't try to fix it.

    The new boards layout is like the new gmail layout, both are too big, bright and spread out. Harder to read, less info on screen and takes longer to get around.

    Still using the old green skin here.

    Yes, had problems on Safari on my iPad and the new navigation is poor.

    Is there an option to switch to the old design without logging in?

    the guys have stated that it wasn't developed for ipads/iphone and that the touch site is much better suited to erm touch devices.

    I've no idea what the 'touch site' is. The old full version worked fine on iPad, so taking that away is hardly progress. They should consider prompting users of iPad etc to redirect to the 'touch site' if they intentionally took away support for these devices on the full site.

    Define the old format. You mean the one that most people would have signed up to, or Old Beta?

    To answer your question I went back to neither. Although would go back to old beta as it suits my smart phone as cant get used to 'touch' on it.
