Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Oh, good thread! A lot for me actually - as I get older I seem to like more and more stuff. I used to hate onions but I like them now. I used to hate mushrooms but I bloody LOVE them now. Lettuce. Kale. Even the dreaded broccoli.

    Meat tastes nicer raw. Fact.

I'll always have a steak cooked blue whenever possible. Just enough to warm the meat up is perfect.

Pasta, hated the texture, like it now.
Peas, again a texture thing, love a pea now!
Beans, actually I still detest them.

In fact as a young child the only thing I would eat was jelly (from the packets, undisolved) hate it now

Rice, pasta, lasange, spaghetti, pizza, cheese, most sauces, most veg, most fruit... I was a very fussy eater, only eating those things in the last 2 years. Still pretty fussy.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,698 ✭✭✭Topper Harley

    Pizza, curry, peppers.

And to an extent, everything else. Was a fussy eater as a child... still am a bit regarding what I like but I'll eat anything put on a plate in front of me now. Except onions. Hate onions. But I see a few others have overcome this so there's hope for me yet.

    Green and Red peppers.

As soon as they were covered in old El paso in those fajita's I was stumped.

  • Registered Users Posts: 901 ✭✭✭Vicar in a tutu

Oh and also stew / coddle.. its actually nice now:eek:

Rare steak, well, medium rare by US standards (because we don't do "rare" over here) is definitely the best. It's not blood, it's myoglobin from muscle tissues and water. That's what makes it tender & juicy. Nyom nyom nyom.

Squid and dried squid, now I eat it regular and have it as a snack or put it on the barbecue.
