    Hi
    I got a roll of geotextile. I think it must measure 10m x 40m.
Fella at hardware didnt seem to know much about it and I've had
it for about a year now. I intend using it for percolation area and maybe
driveway. But before I do I want to make sure I've the right stuff. This is
like a fibreglass mat. Will this stuff be ok for both jobs? If I put something like this over the entire percolation area and put something on top other than grass
(so I wont be killed mowing lawns) would this be a good idea

    Cheers

    Thanks Paddy
Did you put down a couple of layers of it?
    Is it made from fibreglass?

    1 layer of it.

Mypex is a very heavy style of hessian material,as in its inter woven into each other.

very very tough indeed and a very god weed membrane too.

Pic of the Mypex. Its around 50 euro for a 50 meter roll.
It was used under the block pavers and sharp sand and also in the raised beds too.

Heres a PDF link for you.

    http://www.fibertex.com/en-GB/business-areas/Geotextiles/Brochures/Documents/Geotextiles_con_works_UK_0110.pdf

You can read and see what Geotextile roll is used for.
