    "We at Electric are proud to be welcoming Cassy to our decks on Friday the 24th of August.

    Having moved to Berlin in 2003 Cassy has worked with artists such as Ricardo Vilalobos & Steve Bug and has also had releases on Perlon Records. Recently she started her own label 'Cassy' and regularly spins at the PanoramaBar in Berlin. If you like proper techno you won't have even read this bit

    Cassy, aka Catherine Britton was born in England to a Caribbean father and an Austrian mother. Havin spent her childhood and youth in Austria she then returned to Great Britain- a mixture which has provided her with a wide range of cultural and musical influences, something that’s still tangible in her sets and her musical output.

    Her move to Berlin in 2003 was a career boost; in Europe's Dance capital she gained popularity as a House and Minimal DJ. Since then, Cassy has worked in the studio with the likes of Ricardo Villalobos, Dj Elin aka Autorepeat, Dave the Hustler, Luciano, Mathew Jonson and Steve Bug. She has had releases on Cocoon, Perlon, Mental Groove, Beatstreet, Berghain and Panorama's own record label Ostgut Ton (Where she also holds residencies) and has recently set up her own record label, Cassy.

    Cassy has been touring globally with Cocoon since 2009, aswell as numerous residencies in Berghain/ Panorama and Ibiza. It is safe to say that Cassy is one of the best Techno DJs in the world, which makes her night here at Electric unmissable.

    Support on the night will come from Colin Finnegan and Enda Geoghegan, both of Epoch.

    Tickets are €15 with some discounts applying.

    If you're around Galway tonight, get yourselves down to the Bierhaus tonight from 9.30 for the free pre-party with Epoch residents Colin and Enda. Discounted admission to the Cassy gig will be available there.

    The doors of Electric open @ 11pm. Admission is €15 on the door, but as already mentioned, discounts are available at the pre-party.

    Capacity is strictly limited to 200 so try get there early to avoid disappointment!
