    Hi,

I'm considering buying a full Hi-Fi system and my current choice is on a Marantz PM6004 + CD6004. (BTW - how the denon 720-AE amplifier and CD player compare?)

Could you please make a quote for the following (including availability for black and silver versions, and available colors for the turntable):
    - Marantz PM6004
    - Marantz CD6004
    - Pro-ject Debut Carbon (do you have Rega RP1/RP3?)

With the following speakers configurations (including cables):
    - KEF Q300 + stand
    - Q Acoustics - Q2020i + stand / Q2050i
    - Monitor - Audio BX2 + stand
    - Monitor - Audio BX5
    - Tannoy - Mercury V4

    Thanks!

NB: Please include shipping to Galway in the quote

    Hi Terraces,

Thanks for getting in touch. And apologies about the delay in getting back to you.

Very nice choice with the Marantz, unreal system. Has been a favourite of ours since they came out. Haven't had a chance to hear the new Denon's yet. Judging by the 710 I imagine they'll sound great. I do prefer the Marantz myself.

Prices below are exc cables. If you can let me know what you need I can add them on.

Marantz system, turntable and Kef speakers = £1,369.75 inc delivery.

I don't have any pricing on the Kef stands unfortunately. :(

Marantz system, turntable and Q Acoustic speakers:

Q2020i = £1,064.75 inc delivery (I'll need to confirm a price on stands. Looking roughly around £69.95)

    Q2050i = £1,297.75 inc delivery

Marantz system, turntable, and MA speakers:

    BX2s and Soundstyle Z2 stands = £1,219.70 inc delivery.

    BX5s = £1,319.75 inc delivery.

Now with the Tannoy system we're doing a nice deal at the moment. Due to the popularity it's a 'In Store Only' purchase so would need to be collected in Belfast.

    Marantz system, turntable and V4s = £1,099.90.

Out of all the above system I'd recommend the Marantz with the BX5s. Was one of our demo systems for a while and they run llke a dream together.

If you dont mind a trip to Belfast we could let you get a listen to the amp, CD and speakers to give you an idea of how they sound.

Let me know what you think.

    Chris

    Hi Chris,

Thanks for the quotes! I'm not sure I'll be able to come to Belfast, but I'll think of it. Do you have everything in stock at the moment in case I go for the delivery option (what's the delay usually for delivery?)

The BX5 look great but I'm not sure if that's not too much for an apartment, so I was also thinking of the KEF. I'm looking for something with good bass, emotions in the sound and clear distinctions between instruments, I'm mostly listening to rock and derivates (from 50's rock'n'roll to punk or britpop).

I still have to measure exactly for the cables, I guess that's a price per meter?

    Thanks

    Alex.

    Hi Alex,

Thanks for getting back to me.

We try and carry as much in stock as possible. I have the Marantz amp and CD in silver, I can order black if needed. Would also need to order the turntable in. Got most of the speakers in stock, just depends on what finish you would like.

We generally work on a next working day service if we get an order in before 12pm. We can also offer Saturday AM delivery for an extra charge.

The KEFs are a great speaker. I've got another option for you now (sorry!) For what your after I think this is well wort looking at. :)

It's the Monitor Audio RX1s currently priced at £399.95 for the woof finishes or £499.95 for gloss finishes. Monitor Audios RX range is mind blowing. Check out the links below for more info:

    http://www.monitoraudio.co.uk/products/silver-rx/rx1/
    http://www.whathifi.com/review/monitor-audio-silver-rx1/

So the price for the whole system with the RX1s would be £1,319.75 for Black Oak, Walnut, Natural Oak and Walnut.

Or £1,419.75 for the gloss black or white finish.

Speaker cable is indeed per meter. We do different lengths in interconnects ranging from 0.5m to 3m.

Let me know what you think :)
