Canon Lens from Amazon - warranty question

I just received my new Canon EF 70-300 USM IS from Amazon.

Everything seems okay so far, though I'm a little worried about the warranty. The card says USA/Canada only. Does this mean the warranty is basically worthless to me if something goes wrong?

I wouldn't mind so much but I specifically made sure I bought one with a manufacturers warranty rather than a seller warranty or gray market. Any advice?

Some pictures of the warranty card:

    Thanks!

I've bought a few lenses from Amazon and have sent them to repair centres under warranty (within the first year) with no problems at all. I'll check what the warrantys look like when I get home.

You should be fine. Canon has a world wide warranty on their EF lenses. A different story on cameras as the models differ by region around the world so the warranty is for specific regions.
