Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Back Box for Suzuki GS500e

    Alright lads,
    I've got myself a GS500e and I've bought a Hein Gericke Tank Bag and Oxford x60 lifetime luggage pannier bags. I'm looking to get a top box of some sort now so that i have somewhere relatively secure for my helmet or whatever when i park the bike.
    I know nothing about them really like everything else biking related. Do i need to go to a bikeshop to get a rack fitted to mount the box or what?
    Can anyone recommend a particular box or somewhere to get one?

    Givi do a rack for the GS. Make sure you get the model year correct. I have a 2001 model, bought a rack, bike turned out to be 2000 model first reg in 2001, and needed a different rack. I use a Givi box on mine, but AFAIK other manufacturers boxes fit the Givi rack.

    I got my top box and rack for my gs500 second hand from 2 different people on e bay, there not cheap. Keep an eye on e bay as they turn up every now and then. http://gstwins.com/gsboard/index.php?topic=53091.msg599400#msg599400 here's a good link also!
