how to link a thread in pm

    Hi, a vodafone representative asked me to link a thread to him in pm, have looked at faq but can't seem to find it,

    Just copy and paste a link as normal. PMs obey the same logic and syntax as posts.

    The text that you have entered is too long (7913 characters). Please shorten it to 7000 characters long.

    What exactly are you trying to copy and paste? There's no way a standard URL is 7000+ characters. It almost sounds like you might be trying the copy and paste the entire displayed page.

    No, just copy the link to a specific post by copying the link location that the number on the upper right of a post corresponds to.
