    Is it worth me swapping out my phenom for the newer fx 81xx chip?

    Its only 150 quid on flea bay so if the improvement is good I would buy the Fx as a upgrade.

    no. ipc is down for bulldozer. if its not over clocked, spend €30 on a decent cooler and get a nice OC.
