Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

With the Leaving Certificate results out today, Wednesday August 15, US rapper Flo Rida has sent his congratulations to the almost 56,000 students who sat the exams.

The Minister for Education and Skills, Ruairi Quinn, has also sent - as Flo Rida might say - big ups to the students, saying that he hoped their results reflected the work they had put into their studies over the past two years.

Anyone have any other strange headlines they can remember?

Not a headline, but I found it kinda unusual that in the reporting of the Time Square shooting they specifically say the man was carrying not just any knife but an IKEA knife o.O

Sales are gonna go through the roof for that one

That explains a lot. He just lost the instructions on how to build it and was looking for help
