I'm having trouble with my newly purchased Radeon HD 2400 AGP

When I try to run games such as Farming simulator 2011 and demolition city I get an error message saying that shader model 2.0 is required and as far as I can see the GPU I have support 4.0

I have done a fresh install of windows 7 downloaded the hotfix/driver available on the AMD/ATI website and updated to DirectX 9.0c
How can this issue be resolved?

Cork - isnt AGP new down there? :P

Joking aside I assume you have the 'newest' drivers?

Ya I'm doing a really cheap build ~€90 total and I picked up a moBo that only has pci and agp

Yes the drivers have been updated

Just a quick update in case people are having the same issue.

Seems there is a bug in the 10.6 driver so AMD/ATI advised me to uninstall it and use the 10.4, did that and restarted the PC and its working perfectly

So now I have an fairly handy gaming rig/HTPC for €90

    :D:D:D
