Just back from a long spin, took in a 3 photorally points around the sunny southeast. Just under 400km, nice to get off the beaten track but by god it was chilly, so much for the swallows being the sign of summer.

Headed out on my own today all the boys were henpecked lol, headed up to Monaghan via Kingscourt & Ballybay. Its great when you "stumble" across a sections of rode that prove GOD was a man, coz no women would have made them so PERFECT!

Loads more top class roads up this way that not too many know about Wonda.

Deffo have to organise a road session up there, cant beat a fast twisty section of road with a garage at the end that sells ice creams.

    Road train FTW

Fookin wind out today! Savage gusts. Constantly leaning into the wind on straights and then getting some unexpected cover from a ditch can throw you! 😮

You should post a few photos and maybe a map of your route rather than just saying you were out today.

You mean - like you do?

Well, you can if you like, but a route or just generally where you were is good. Definitely my favourite road at the moment is up the N81 from Tallaght, nice sweeping bends on that road. Then across the gap from west to east. North to south the road is far to bumpy and start-stoppy. Much more flowing bends from west to east.

Not mad about the gap myself.
A bit short of a spin.

Try going to the end of the N81, and then see where the road takes you.

The gap is good for a short spin when you don't know where to go.

Same here, I used to enjoy the gap when I first started out but not so much now, had too many close call's with idiots thinking they are in the motogp with no oncoming traffic!

Tullow side of N81 is a lot of fun and for some good twisties go from tullow to carlow, https://goo.gl/maps/TWd90

Is that the road I mentioned Blu? I remember driving home in the car and thinking the lads would love that road

    Dead right.
You know me so well, yet I don't remember meeting you.

Too short a spin, and a lot of the time too full of tourist in cars.

Take a longer spin, and you might just find some decent roads.
