Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

These must be high or extra high with the twenty moa inserts and to fit a picatinny rail.
Will buy straight or swap for burris
    30 mm tactical ring.
    Thanks.

I'm fairly certain you can't get .020 inserts for the 30mm rings, only for the 1" rings.

How much elevation did they actually give?

The 30mm rings come with the extra inserts.
You can get up to 20moa with them depending on which ones you use.

This might be pedantic Zeissman, but you've said 2 different things in that last post.
First, that the 30mm rings come with the .020 inserts. They don't. I have both 1" and 30mm rings and only the 1" came with those. The 30mm come with .000 and .010 inserts. That's all. It even says that on the Burris webpage.
Second you say "You can get up to 20moa depending on which ones you use. Correct to a degree. In the link I posted above, it is said that you can combine a .010 on the front and reverse it on the back to give a total of .020. But in saying that, you won't get 20moa out of it. Take a look at the following link to see formulas to figure how much you actually can get.

Not trying to find holes in what your saying, I just think the OP should have a clear picture of what options he actually has, when he's looking for something that doesn't actually exist ie. .020 inserts for 30mm rings.

I meant to say you can get 20moa with the inserts.
If you put a -.010 insert in the bottom front ring and a +.010 insert in the bottom rear ring it should give you 20moa.
