Since social networking has become so popular it seems to drive a lot of people to seek attention for the most basic daily routines.

Such as '' Going for lunch, cant wait '' or '' nearly finished work ''.

I can understand people posting about something new or interesting but telling everyone if they go somewhere or what they are eating seems very odd to me.

I have blocked most people who post rubbish like this, But what is the logic behind people posting there daily routines - is it just attention seeking or am i missing something?

Meh, just using so people know what they're up to. Could be using to arrange stuff or whatever. With smart phones and what not people are connected constantly.
