Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

This new trend of fake links navigating to an advertisement is an insidious development on the internet. It seems it's being used by almost all discussion forums.

Blurring the link between content and advertising is a bad approach. . I think the text link format ads will bomb. They’re a turn-off for readers. People will stop using legitimate hyperlinks.

In the meantime, hopefully ad-block will be updated to block them out.

I dont think you can call it a new trend if it's been around for the same amount of time as the internet...

It's not legitimate advertising links. Your computer has a virus. Mine got it loads of times. It's called Text Enhance.
Google it to see how to cure it.

I prefer Gopher myself. You'll find no embedded links, bloat or bastardisation of any form in that now boy
