So you can get your appealed result re-checked? Haha! I went from a C1 to a B3 in Art and a B2 to a B1 in Biology! Went up 10 points and got offered my fist choice so was pretty happy

Well, I think it's more so a system that ensures the recheck was done properly and all that, but if there were any descrepancies in the remarking, I'm sure it would be remarked again, not too sure what exactly the service is haha. Ah nice one, I went up by 10 too, but already had my first choice, just did it out of principal. I got campus accommodation though, because someone else evidently got upgraded and moved college to their next choice, so all's good.

My son went up a grade in biology. It meant an increase in 25 points, sadly he is still short 10 points for his 1st choice course. The dept education do not have home addresses for students so refunds would be made through school surely?

I still have not been contacted..I am scared now that I have not been upgraded If I haven't I am utterly shocked tbh!

Rang the school the other day and it should be sent to us soon enough. It's been over a month would they hurry up already :mad::pac:

I know it's taking so long, it's a joke. I rang SEC a few weeks ago and they said they would be posting them soon. Bureaucracy. It would be handier if they just posted them to our houses.

Yep. The point of appeals is to award a fairer grade, though of course if someone's appealing they think it's going to go up - but it's not always the case. Most people, though, would check with a teacher first, and if it looks like it could go down then they don't appeal.
