    Hello,

I am new to the forum. It's great!

I've been reading extensively about escallonia hedges here. Loads of good info.

I am hoping to get your help.

At home, we have both escallonia and box plant together. The escallonia is not what it used to be: lush, amasing. And the poor box plant is burned in patches.

Can you please take a look at these pictures I put on Flickr.com?

I don't see anything resembling disease, at least at first glance from different locations.

Any help as to what I did and what I should do would be very much appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Pete

It could be box blight but I'm not sure ... The conditions are ideal for it ... Warm and damp. afaik blight also affects escallonia. Good luck ... I hope it's not blight

    Hello. Thanks for your reply.

    Yes, I hope it's not blight :(

I noticed some people having problems with the original link. Sorry about that. Here's a revised link. A few pictures will explain better than I can.

Any thoughts as to what's going on would be appreciated.
