Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Lively, putting in some good challenges but both sides are struggling to create anything. Not a shot on goal yet.

    WBA one nil. Cracking goal

2-0 Fulham, Petric header from a corner. He's had a great first half.

Of all the teams in the Premier .......... QPR surely wil improve. C'mon you RRRRs! :D

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,656 ✭✭✭cgpg5

Swansea looked awesome. Really hope they stay up. QPR really need to sort out their defence. Also Diakate had an absolute mare. They'll be sound most likely but buying a good CB wouldn't hurt

After the Euros (had 7 or 8 bets and they all lost) I'll be doing some serious research during the week to pick my EW Super Yankee ........ Prem, Champ, 1st, 2nd and Bundesliga. The usual prayer and meditation will precede the picking.

Missed that Suarez miss earlier, should have scored.

( the cross from the left which he headed over )

    Re the sending off.

Agger looked really show when tracking back. Deserved red IMO.

    Second penalty was soft enough.

Can't believe I actually predicted one correct score today! The way things were going it seemed unlikely.

    Possession is not everything

How important is possession? Bradford City (75%) Walsall (60%) York (59%) Liverpool (57%) all conceded 3 and lost v Gills Donny Wycombe WBA

Liverpool, LOL sad face. At least they're consistant, picked up from where they left off last season.

Michu seems to be the business, or has he hit a one off high? Reading don't look the pushovers I thought they might have been this year.

Think Reading will surprise a few. Play with such determination and passion. Relegation could be very, very interesting!

Agreed. Looking at they're squad you would think there is no real creative options in the centre of the field, which would mean low chance creation. That was thrown out the window today. Excellent determination from the team. Relegation will be interesting again.

Early doors yet but I tipped them, Brom and Soton. Think Soton will do well to get 30 pts if I'm honest

I still think Norwich will stay up. Replace them with Wigan, and I think your prediction is correct. However I don't think it will be an easy up for Norwich. They will be battling at the end of the season.

Robbie Savage said 12 teams could get relegated. While he's a spoofer and that is a complete exaggeration, I still think any of about 8 could well be there or there abouts entering end of april/may

It really is starting to look that way. If you're in the bottom half, you won't be far off the relegation zone.

Why is that though? Are promoted teams getting better or are mid table teams becoming worse?

Starting to look like three leagues in one. Top 6, Safety and Relegation.

What I was saying is that there won't be much in the difference between Europe qualification and safety as it was last year.

All 3 promoted sides showed they have every chance of staying up, with possibly the best suited West Ham, the poorest of the 3. Question marks over Southampton not creating chances due to defending so deep, as opposed to dominating games in the championship, were quashed as it is obvious they know how to finish a ball. Cracking goal from Lambert yesterday.

Only worry I would have about Southampton is their drive might go against them. When they thought the could beat CIty, they went for the win rather than keep it tight. Resulted in the game opening up and suiting City to counter attack and gave away 2 goals and a precious point. But that's of course an opinion for a Soton fan. All neutrals will wish they play that way all season, very exciting to watch.
