    Hi,

The last monthly payment of a 12 month loan (variable rate) just came out of my account and it's about 110 euro larger than what was outstanding (I paid an extra 100 at some point because I was told that was OK). So now the loan account is in credit by 110.

Will this be returned automatically to my current account in the next few days or do I need to contact my branch or anything?

    Thanks.

    Hi Adelie,

    Thanks for getting in touch.

Yes, this should correct itself within 3-5 working days.

Any overpayment, less outstanding interest, will be transferred back to your current account. The system will then close off the loan account and issue a closing statement to you.

    Thanks,
    Tara
