Do you remember all the fuss about this last year - the priest from Salthill thought the world was going to end 'cos people would have to walk to Mass, etc. Well, I saw an article about this year's version in the Indo this week - clearly the council are getting the word out early so that we can all lodge objections in time…

I've just been down at Salthill park, winners are just about finished now. Organisers seem to have learned a lot from last year regarding traffic flow. Cars were allowed to travel in salthill to town after the last of the cyclists headed out. Not as much of a crowd about just yet tho.

last of the bikes went through Oughterard before noon. Cops at the bridge still restricting traffic movement, west of that is OK.
