Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hello all,

Just wondering what people think of getting a loan from the credit union or from a bank? Which is quicker and easier?

Also, the loan I want to get is a JOINT loan with some family members and was also wondering is this the done thing?

    thanks all :)

As far as I know, credit unions offer a much better rate, are more flexible with repayments, and in the event of death your loan dies with you.

I'm not sure if all this still applies, but definitely look into the terms of each loan agreement before taking out a loan.

As for a joint loan.. I'd say this would be quite difficult if the person is any one other than your spouse.
