    I'm a bit worried about Paper 1 tomorrow because our Maths Mocks only consisted of 2/3 long questions we never did before and about 4/5 questions we had already done in class..... Basically our eejit teacher gave us a fake maths paper 1 from the exam papers

    And don't get me started about Paper 2- Our teacher left all of Paper 2 except for (Area and Volume and Trigonometry) for the last 5 weeks in school after Easter... He barely got Anything done with us... I'm an extremely hard working student at maths and there are times that I have spent 3/4 hours on the HW because of this hobo that is a pathetic excuse for a teacher..

    If I get lower than a B, I'm blaming and possibly reporting my useless maths teacher who can't teach or control our class, I'm sueing this school that crams 30+ students in most Maths classes then I'm assasinating The Minister for Education, Ruairi Quinn then I'm going to burn his children before they grow up to be corrupt ministers like him. And BTW I won't forget to butcher the authors New Concise Maths Project Maths Supplement

    Winds are deflected to the right of their direction in the northern hemisphere, to the left in the south. It's called the Corriolis Effect

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,232 ✭✭✭Bazinga_N

    please explain corrolosis force
    Do you mean Coriolis Effect? :p

    If so, then it's (simply put):

    Winds are deflected to the right in the Northern Hemisphere and to the left in the Southern Hemisphere :)

    Yes, but there are different types of metaphoric rocks and you have to explain in detail ;). It's a 10m question, your answer would get you 2 marks ;).

    The marking scheme is like this:
    Statement = 2m
    Explain = 1m

    :P

    Metamorphic rocks were once igneous rocks that have been changed by the heat pressure. These rocks include marble and quarzite. These rocks are used for domestic uses such as fireplaces and kitchen counter tops and also headstones. It is a natural resource because it can be used by people.

    Metamorphic Rocks are formed when igneous rocks or sedimentary rocks are put under great heat or pressure, e.g. limestone (sedimentary) changes to marble (metamorphic) and sandstone (sedimentary) changes to quartzite (metamorphic).
