Ok it's a bit complicated but I'm from London originally but have spent the last 15 years in Cork

I'm now back in London for 6+ months and finding I feel more like a Corkman than a returning Londoner

To be honest, I'd love to socialise with some of the ppl here from Ireland & just wondering which pubs are best and where I can get the GAA

I'm w14 Kensington based but have oyster will travel

The Churchill Arms, just off Notting Hill Gate, sounds like it would be right up your street:

Widely regarded as one of the best pubs in the country (I don't work for Fullers, honest), I find it has struck an excellent balance between British & Irish (not that there's a world of difference in the grand scheme of things). All-in-all, a fascinating (and often very busy) little place, with an excellent value Thai kitchen to boot!

While i absolutely love the Churchill Arms I don't think (but I'm open to correction, the landlord is from Clare after all) it shows much GAA.

The one decent spot I've found for Irish sport is the Sheephaven in Mornington Crescent http://www.beerintheevening.com/pubs/s/34/34509/Sheephaven_Bay/Camden

Bit of a trek but worth it IMO

I think they just show the big games. I'm not a big follower of the GAA so I don't really know, but there's certainly plenty of hurling paraphernalia about the place.
