Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I know but when you have Rafael it makes no sense.

He played bad in the Olympics final but he's vastly better than Val at RB.

Maybe Fergie doesn't want Everton trying to exploit a mismatch in height between Fellaini and Rafael.

Did Neville just say Kagawa won't have experienced an atmosphere like this before?

The shirts aren't quite as vomit-inducing when on the players.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,211 ✭✭✭Owen_S

We should see plenty of the ball tonight with Scholes Cleverley & Kagawa in midfield .
Unless Everton get the ball, in that case we have no hope of getting it back.

lol @ Gary Neville saying Kagawa won't have experienced an atmosphere like Goodison Park. Goodison or any English ground aren't a tap on the Signal Iduna Park.

Hope for a score draw, but we haven't performed at all in pre-season (AEK Athens aside), can see us coming up short here.

Anyway, logical thinking time is over, COME ON YOU BLUES, SMASH THEM LADS! :D:D

I know people have been saying it all week but it's only now really dawning on me how bizzare it is to see Van Persie in a Utd shirt.

Soo looking forward to seeing Kagawa although that back four fills me with dread.

Just a heads up for the game on TV, There is a SKY Sports live feed from Goodison Park in the clear which you can add to Other Channels on your Sat box (whatever type)

Go to Services, Add Channels and input the following

    11.469
    H
    27500
    2/3

press select and add number 7856.

Its one of 4 feeds that the Para games will be using for Channel 4 coverage. Of course it could go at any time and it might not even be used for the game itself but its worth checking out if you don't have Sky Sport

Quoted for anyone who missed this

    Thanks Mike65

    Opta Joe

Man Utd have a 74% win percentage in the PL when Nemanja Vidic plays, compared to 64% when he has been missing

    Difference between Giles and Neville...

Giles: "X is a disgrace - He never tracks back or chases opponents"

Neville: "World class forwards like X shouldnt track back or chase opponents - They should conserve their energy for doing damage in the final third of the field"

Neville is incredibly good as a pundit

You can't say that based on that quote. I would disagree with Neville - every player has to do their share of the defensive duty.

Tbh, attacks take up much less energy than defending do. If your forward doesn't do their shift, to save energy for attacks that take up much less of your energy than defense, you heighten the workload on your other players.

It's not often a United no.7 has to play at RB.

I like the look of Kagawa so far, very lively, always on the move, and looking to orchastrate and tell others what to do.
