Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Great save from De Gea, he's keeping us in this at the moment.

Stick a man in front of De Gea for corners looks like it's the policy again this season.

Fellaini is like putting one of your CBs up front late on only Moyes does it for the whole match, he's such a huge aerial threat.

Is there anyone secretly hoping Utd get hammered to make Fergie pull out the cheque book before the deadline?

Ferguson's policy re midfield being exposed for all to see...

    A joke

What the fook are you on about?

Scholes hasn't the legs to chase and Cleverley's not that type of player.

We're being overrun in midfield. The lack of a defensive midfielder is killing us.

    Fellaini calling the shots.

If Baines goes down there he'd have got a penalty.

Fellaini playing like a boss so far.

Sky are saying United have 68% possession, BBC showing 52%

Very impressed with De Gea so far he seems much more in charge of things but Jesus where on the back foot here Everton are bossing it going forward. I wouldn't be shocked to see us get one sent off either .

Everton do have a great midfield, your point is still very valid but if Carrick was in there for Scholes I'd say there'd be a huge improvement.

Fellaini is the only standout player tbf - Gibson and Neville are very average.

I don't know why we haven't tried to sign him, would defo sort out our midfield and wouldn't break the bank either.

I don't think Nani will last much longer. He'll get hooked or sent off.

Don't think that's fair; the guy is technically and positionally superb.

Never said he was a world class defensive midfielder!

Gibson is underrated imo. He's a jack of all trades type midfielder, better passing and worse shooting than he's given credit for. Neville is a good destroyer too.

Yes he would. Considering how much Everton paid for him years ago when he was still very young, how much he has improved since then and the inflation of transfer fees in recent years, he is worth €30m+

Well Carrick is playing at CB and Fletch is missing. Sure we wanted another CM but it's not going to happen. It's pretty annoying after 25 minutes of the season to read posts like yours more or less saying....see....see..!!!

And for what it's worth, although defensively suspect I'm loving watching Scholes Cleverley and Kagawa in possession.

Becuase we don't play long ball stuff like Everton to hoof the ball up to him. He wouldn't suit us. He's a great asset to have but he doesn't suit our style one bit.

Don't know how much your bank can hold, but Fellaini will set you back at least £25m.

    What a peach of ball.

    Should have finished it.

Not sure if he was tripped by Hibbert there or fell over his own feet, hard to tell.

Everton paid £15m for him and he's now in the first year of a new 5 year contract. He'd be a brilliant signing but would be expensive.
