Yep. Was full all weekend and now that it's €17 a night it still is.

17 is reasonable...34 is taking the pee.
Some of the sites in Killarney are crazy aswell... Got charged 8 quid a night for a wind out awning 3 years ago!!

I have paid for a caravan awning, pegged down all around with ground sheet, storm guys, etc..

But never for my wind out 'sunshade' :D, which is in and out depending on weather conditions.
Attempting to charge for wind out motorhome awnings/sunshades is really taking the p1ss big time.

Stayed there over the weekend. 3 nights camping and 3 days entry to the park for €150, which worked out to be alright value given how much the kids enjoyed it. however, we won't be rushing back to pay full price. Full whack for both the camping and the park is way over priced in our opinion.

We did a bit of a tour around Ireland. Weather was fine, but the price of sites, and the facilities you get or don't get, made up our minds to go abroad next year.

    Didnt see this thread earlier.

    See my thread re. Salthill.

Irish campsites seem to be really taking the P##S.
