    Hi,

I'm looking to get a really good gaming pc, good graphics are probably the most important thing for playing the total war games, and it will also be used for internet, email etc.

    What is your budget? 1100

    2. What will be the main purpose of the computer? Gaming - All the Total War games

    3. Do you need a copy of Windows? Yes

    4. Can you use any parts from an old computer? No

    5. Do you need a monitor? YES

5a. If yes, what size do you need. Preferably 24

5b. If no, what resolution is your current monitor and do you plan to upgrade in the near future?

    6. Do you need any of these peripherals? No

    7. Are you willing to try overclocking? Not sure what it is, but sure!

    8. How can you pay? Any

    9. When are you purchasing? This week

    10. If you need help building it, where are you based? Dublin/Meath

I got the following specs from hardwareversand for a pre-build after doing some research, I'm just wondering if there's anything I should remove/change to improve the build? Any information is really appreciated :) Thanks

Go for slightly faster RAM if overclocking the CPU

    Read Monotype's guide in PSUs

Not really a fan of these cases - just my personal opinion though. Reason: They dont offer much over the Merc but are more expensive

This is an unlock CPU for overcloking - have you got a cooler?

Thanks for the advice! Oh God, I thought by picking the English version windows it would have been ok, just as well I checked, my German is non-existent! I'll go and have a look at your suggestions, I don't have a cooler so I'll have to add that. What do you mean by "Special Item = Opened"?

Special Item means its opened - probably a return may be an ex demo.

I noticed you asked what over-clocking was. There is a learning curve but if your willing to learn then its well worth it - just do some googling :). If not you need to change the build round a bit - no point in getting a K series CPU if you're not going to clock it at some point.

I might leave out the monitor then, or change it for a new one. I do have an old one so that would do for the moment anyway. I'll have a look into this over-clocking, see what it's all about! Thanks so much for your help :)
