Does it matter at all where your home branch is?

    Considering with most banks you can carry out transactions in any branch.


    So does it make a difference at all?

    yeah. Seems to in BOI anyway. On some transactions they've had to route my paperwork through the home branch and changing branch seemed non-trivial.

    So it just means if you're operating a lot in one branch that's some distance from your home branch, there could be paperwork delays?
