I have joined the chat a few times, and explained who I am there, but I might as well introduce myself properly here (feel free to remove if u condone introduction threads like this)

From: North of Belfast, Northern Ireland

....okay, getting a little side tracked. This isn't a dating website after all! xD

Playing Fighting games since: September 2010
Plays: SSF4AE 2012, SFxT, Mahvel (even though I don't own the game), SF3 3rd Strike, SSF2T HDR
Characters: (AE 2012) Ryu, Zangief, Rose, Seth, (SFxT) teams consisting of Ryu, Zangief, Kazuya and Marduk. I don't play the rest of the games enough to have characters in them xD

Some trivial facts:
Username origins: A bully gave it to me, and my friends thought that it suited me, so it stuck. Shoutouts to Kyle, the bus bully, for my name.
Consoles: PC (isnt that good for gaming), Xbox 360, Xbox, PS2, PSP
Favourite video game: Half Life 2
Favourite novel: Holes
Preferred music genre: Any and all

I also have a Youtube channel, where I post videos (mostly Fighting Games) of me playing video games, whether it's ranked sets, tutorials, opinion videos, random videos etc.

I joined this website to get to know more about my local scene, and hopefully start travelling out to go to tournaments, not just to try and win (even though I probably wont :P) but to meet new people, try out commentating (something i've always wanted to do) and just for the experience. As a great man once said "It's a great tournament, and a great experience!"

And as a welcome gift, I dedicated a DOTD, just for all of you!

(sorry if some of the info is incorrect, I'm still just learning the ropes of the Irish FGC )

Good to see another NI player about. Normally I'd point you in the direction of http://dragonslayers.org.uk/ but you have to be 18 to join that (might be 17, not sure). It seems you went to one of the CXC tourneys, though, so you might already know.

Hello Pdaaaawg, a good way to get involved with and to get to know some of the Irish community and improve your game is to get to casuals. As Yreval mentioned above dragonslayers have sessions Tuesday evenings and Saturday afternoons.

There'll be a session this Saturday from around 1-6 which usually the core group of NI based AE players attend ie myself, cobelcog(the thief), Newtype, Blinn, Roogle etc

I wouldn't worry about being under 18 to attend Saturday sessions.

Well, unless you serve alcohol freely/give out drugs like they were smarties/engage in weird voodoo rituals or something then I think I should be fine xD

BTW, PDaaaaaaaaaaawg, not to get it into a pissing match, but I would definitely put the Hound on the level of the "big three" you mention there. And there's plenty of players I'd also say are vying for that spot too.

I was just asking people who are the top Irish players, and Hound was never mentioned until after I made the video I'll be sue to include him in my next Ireland video ^^)

I'd literally get my recording gear out and just record all the matches as we play, same as I'd record a tournament!

I do it every now and then, but I prefer not to in general, I like recording live.
