Which currencey to transfer with?

I am looking to transfer some money between and Australian account and AIB. When it asks which currencey to pay AIB should I choose AUD or EUR. Who will give me the better rate? Theres a big difference in what it is on XE and what the payment would be to pay in EUR from oz to aib. I know you never get whats on xe but…
