Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Chelsea are playing some lovely football but Reading have been clinical.

If Chelsea just plug away they will get this back .

Chelsea look very shakey at the back, with all their signings people might forget they have a very adverage manager.

More cech , spilling balls , kicking it out of touch....

FFS "Oh Chelsea have two matches this week, I'll put in Cech and 2 defenders in my fantasy team, guaranteed easy points. I'll make Cech captain as well."

yes a super sweet header that no one could stop and a keeper fumble really shows how average di matteo is:confused:

Not a bad manager in fairness but most likely keeping the seat warm for Pep

He was manager at the end of the year as well.

Chelsea are all over the place here, looking ragged at the back.

the year where they won the champions league and FA cup  my god your argument gets worse and worse!

Hazard is a delight to watch. So is the Chelsea defence !

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,852 ✭✭✭homer simpson

Shocking Chelsea display so far, the defence is being tore to shred's and it was some howler from Cech.

Have to give credit to Reading all the same they are playing out of their skins.

    Is this game on t.v.?

    Is this game on t.v.?

    Nope for some silly reason.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,818 ✭✭✭Bateman

No silly reason, it wasn't on the list of games Sky/ESPN picked at the start of the season and it's only being played tonight because of the European Super Cup next Friday night.

    Nope for some silly reason.

Not allowed show league matches the same night as Champions League is on afaik.

No excuses here for Chelsea, they just need to up it and it's there for the taking, I am also hoping/expecting Reading to tire, they're playing at a seriously fast pace

    48 minutes.

Mikel really is an issue for Chelsea. He has no reading of the game .
Very good at tackling when things are tight, but he just hasnt that brain to be that one step ahead which is needed at this level, and gets easily passed around out of midfield.

Hazard looks the player we all feared and Torres still has last seasons woeful first touch but again looks to be finding his feet .

I can see Chelsea turning this around but.

I'm still expecting a Chelsea win here, Reading though have deserved to be leading at this stage imo

I wouldn't be so sure. When Man City went behind at the weekend I thought they would win as they always looked like they would score.

    Chelsea, not so much.

It must hurt Hazard that he has emerged at the same time as Bebe. He'll likely have a great season but remain in the Portuguese dynamo's shadow.

Chelsea will get a peno or score from a set piece - Obviously I'm hoping I'm wrong with that !

If they don't equalise in the next 10 minutes, I'd very much doubt their chances of a comeback.

What are you on about? He's been injured up until now, they reckon he'll sort out all Utd's centre mid problems himself. Was criminal that he was being used as a striker before now

    Bebe=class act
