Helping the elderly in Dundalk

Hello,

Since losing my job I have a lot of free time and have always been interested in helping the elderly in my town. I would love to help with grocery shopping, cleaning and keeping people company. This is something I have wanted to get involved with for a while now. I've been looking up info online but can't seem to get a lot of it. Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction? Thanks a mill!

Thanks so much for the replies- I've found loads of info! Was chatting to the people that run louthvolunteers.ie and there's so many volunteer jobs at the min, really looking forward to getting stuck in
