Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

he's an absolute twat! Getting himself involved in the John Terry/Anton Ferdinand racism saga. I know Anton is his younger brother but he can fight his own battles without him getting involved

so you wouldnt get involved in your BROTHERS trial!

its also not like he went in and gave a character reference. he just took to twitter. like put yourself in his shoes. some guy throws abuse (racist abuse i might ad) at your younger brother you are gonna go on the defensive i dont care who you are if you are close to your brother then you will defend him.

Terry is a scumbad and has shown that time and time again over the years this is just the most recent thing. if he was not a footballer he probably would be in jail

He should support his brother in private I think that would be appropriate.
Bitching about it over social media is obviously stupid and inappropriate and I doubt it did Anton any favours.
And also his "choc ice" tweet was the equivalent of calling Ashley Cole an Uncle Tom and there are no excuses for it.

Whatever about the rest, you lose all credibility by mentioning Mad Zab. Only the most blinkered, rose tinted, one eyed opposition fan could do that.

    Actually, hang on...makes sense.

maybe i'm just not the same as you but i probably wouldnt have been able to contain myself of putting up things also if i felt someone had wronged my brother. i cant understand what its like to feel racist abuse(bar being called a paddy i suppose and that riles me up coming from some brits) but i can understand my brother or sister being wronged and would not contain myself.

as for the the choc ice that was stupid as it was public but he didnt exactly say ashley cole is a choc ice he was just stupid to retweet and respond to someone who had.

Venting his frustration via Twitter was just silly. He may have felt a need to do something but I doubt this did Anton or his family any good in the slightest. If anything it just contributed to making the whole case seem theatrical which was not something an issue as serious such as racism deserved.

He did not come out and call him a choc ice but to retweet someone calling him a choc ice and respond approvingly is exactly as bad imo. That was an extremely offensive remark for him to bring widespread attention. Although it would have obviously been a very emotional case for him he certainly did himself no favours in the way he acted throughout.

I like Rio as a player but I'd say he's some clown off the pitch.About as dim as he looks I'd imagine.

More tongue in cheek speculation than anything else. Nothing paranoid about it. Keep reading though, I'm flattered!
