Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    TEAM NEWS

Steven Gerrard and Luis Suarez will not feature in Liverpool's Europa League play-off first leg at Hearts.
Martin Skrtel and Glen Johnson have also not travelled for the game, which takes place three days before Liverpool host Manchester City.
Jose Enrique, who missed Saturday's 3-0 defeat at West Brom with a knee injury, and Joe Cole, injured at The Hawthorns, will not feature.
David Templeton returns from suspension for Hearts.
Liverpool's Moroccan winger Oussama Assaidi, who became the club's third summer signing last week, is cup tied having featured for Heerenveen in the qualifying rounds.
But he will be available should Liverpool reach the group stages.
Skipper Gerrard, 32, and forward Suarez, 25, featured in the loss to West Brom along with Skrtel and Johnson.
Gerrard scored in Liverpool's 3-0 second-leg win over Gomel in the last round of Europa League qualifying at Anfield.
Hearts defender Marius Zaliukas suffered a dead leg during Saturday's 2-2 draw with Inverness but has been able to train since the weekend.
However, the hosts are unsure over goalkeeper Jamie MacDonald's availability as his pregnant partner was admitted to hospital on Wednesday morning. New signing Peter Enckelman is on standby.

Hearts (provisional squad): MacDonald, Enckelman, Hamilton, Patterson, Barr, McGowan, Zaliukas, Webster, McHattie, Taouil, Driver, Prychynenko, Holt, Novikovas, Thomson, Walker, Sutton, Grainger, Robinson, Templeton.

Liverpool (provisional squad): Reina, Jones, Kelly, Agger, Carragher, Coates, Flanagan, Shelvey, Lucas, Adam, Allen, Henderson, Spearing, Downing, Borini, Carroll, Wilson, Robinson, Sterling, Eccleston.

    Confirmed Hearts lineup :

We should really be smashing the likes of Hearts to bits, even without some big names. Hopefully Sterling will feature, he deserves the start. Interesting to see Pacheco isn'! Even in the squad, I guess that's him definitely gone.

Can't see us smashing Hearts but we definitely should not be beat.

Looking forward to this tonight. Be good to see some of the young lads get a run out as well (especially Sterling). I think Carroll has to start as well. Imagine if BR picked Morgan to start over him. What kind of message does that send out to potential buyers. I'm sure we would be looking at less than £10m transfer fee for sure.

Hoping Hearts can get some sort of result tonight, but Liverpool will put them to the sword in the return leg.

    Sterling starts, interesting.

Big night for the young lad

A chance to see young Sterling tonight. Hope all goes well for him. Unfortunately another chance to see the limitations of Spearing.

    Wonder how Coates feels.

Aww ok blame TV3 for that then. Pretty sure because they show so many ITV things the have deals to block what gets shown. The same reason ITV is not on Sky as well.
