Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Oh Borini, doing a Suarez on it :( Great work by Sterling to set him up.

Hard to believe Sterling is only 17.

    Excellent prospect.

Super anticipation from Sterling. Been our stand out threat. Borini should have buried it

    Poor finish from Borini.

Gerarrd hit it last week as well.

Gonna state the obvious here: hitting the woodwork is not bad luck it's bad finishing.

I'd like to see Coates and Lucas in for Carra and Adam.

Sterling is one hot prospect and I'm delighted he is wearing the red of Liverpool.

Delighted the lad is now cutting it at senior level.

Pmsl, that's a finish worthy of Porrini, nevermind Borini.

Depends on the type of chance/effort. Borini's was a poor finish, but a 25 yard volley is bad luck.

Shelvey will drive me insane. He makes a good pass and spends the next 10 seconds admiring it instead of moving again to give an option to recieve the ball back.

Still though, the post will be a major talking point again. Are the liverpool players betting on how many times they can hit the post in a season?

Be interesting to see if a top club come in for him at end of season.

A good finisher, and we are 2 up.

Why was he hammering it in?? Needed to focus on placement there over power. Poor decision imo.

I thought his technique was okay tbh.

He did try to place it.

If it was Suarez, he would have tried to do 3 loop the loops before chipping it over the keeper.

Dunno what the fúck has happened to Shelvey, but anytime I have seen him recently he has looked crap.

    Bad miss from Borini.

Sterling looks dangerous every time he gets the ball.

Very true. Suarez reminds me of robbie keane but more class.

No, it was league if I remember right.

But he keeps playing like this & he makes it more likely he'll feature more in the league!

Did we ever settle on the starts vs appearances thing & my weighted suggestion?

    PM to clarify!

Midfield trio need to support attack hell of alot more this half. Adam made one attack but Shelvey isn't offering much going forward. Sterling working his arse off on the left..

Shelvey just needs to realise his limitations and play the simple pass.

Must be watching a different player to me then, lost count how many passes he has missed, that was pre-season included. He needs to realise theres nothing wrong with an easy pass.

Sterling deserves a start at the weekend after his showing here I think!:D

What a joy it is to see a winger who can go past a defender.

He's done more in this game than Stewart Downing did all last season. There's no logical reason for him not to make him a regular starter imo.

might be only 17, but who cares. He is quality and is a major threat. Has to be used a lot this season.
