Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

BBC Censors Video Showing Syrian Rebels Forcing Prisoner to Become Suicide Bomber

    This official BBC video disappeared rapidly from its official site however it has got distributed through third party sources. Don't be surprised if this link gets cut off.

    The BBC has sensationally censored a news story and a video showing Syrian rebels forcing a prisoner to become a suicide bomber, a war crime under the Geneva Conventions, presumably because it reflected badly on establishment media efforts to portray the FSA as glorious freedom fighters.

    Obviously they were quickly told to remove this video, notice the relatively newish jeep and AK47 supplied to these rebels. :) .

    I'll await a non-CT link before commenting on that particular claim, but it certainly wouldn't be the first time that the BBC have censored/edited stuff to suit a particular agenda.

    I remember reading a story a few months ago about how they censored the word 'Palestine' from a rapper's song on the radio :pac:

    Famous one here on the BBC reporting the Salomon Brothers Building Collapse (Building 7) about 20 minutes before it actually happened, :)
