21 days to get unlocking code?

Hi all, really need to get my Blackberry unlocked ASAP - rang o2 & was told it can be up to 21 days for Blackberry to issue a code, is this right?? Blackberry is accepting Sim but need MEP code, don't have pay pal so cant use the likes of unlock.ie etc..

A week would be the norm, 21 days is them covering themselves.

You'll never get it in a day.
