    UK electronics giant PC World is clearing out old Apple stock in dramatic fashion today, slashing a full 30 percent off its asking price for 2011 MacBook models. That means a bargainous £499 price for the 11-inch MacBook Air with Sandy Bridge CPU at the low end an even more impressive £999 for a quad-core 17-inch MBP with a 750GB hard drive. Only in-store collection is available, and we can't imagine stocks lasting a mighty long time, but if you can stomach not running the latest and greatest processor, these are definitely the best deals on Apple laptops you'll find in the UK.

    Might be handy for those living on the border or going up today/tomorrow. Doubt they will last for long.
