Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

There's another in this, Carroll last minute

Shelvey is really playing well today. Had a bad start of the season over the last couple of games but made up for it today.

A bad start to the season??? We've played 1 game against West Brom before today

    Absolutely.

Liverpool have been the better team all day.

Actually, Pool have created all 4 goals, no reason they can't get a 5th! :pac:

Nah seriously, I think they'll knick it.

That sterling lad could end up being some player. Is he a local lad ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,319 ✭✭✭emo72

shelvey needs a bit of luck with those 18 yarders

Great game this. Maybe it's just because the Premier League has been away for so long but I've really enjoyed the first two weeks.

Nope, got him in from QPR.

Shelvey deserves a big pat on the back for today. Looks like he is still carrying a knock, but has played excellent, great positioning

Was going to bet on 2-2 but then again I was having Tevez as first goal scorer, sounds like a good game to watch

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,438 ✭✭✭livinginkorea

Allen is Niall's man of the match.

Shouldn't Carroll be up there contesting them headers instead of Suarez?

English but with Jamaican heritage (came over when he was a kid)

No matter what the result here today there are some very positive thing to take from the game from our point of view. Sterling and Allen look very good indeed and don't look out of place at all. The work ethic of the team has been immense too and you can see evidence of BR and his style starting to take some shape. All in all, apart from the Lucas injury and the silly defending stuff I'm quietly encouraged tbh.

    two footed lunge from Zab?

Suarez giving out to Allen at some wasteful shooting is amusing.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,710 ✭✭✭✭Paully D

City will be happy with that. Played very poorly for most of the game and still got away from a tough away game with a point.

    before game
this has draw written all over it.
Surprised how many Liverpool fans are pessimistic about today. I honestly think this be tough game for City.

Not going be much in it either way.

Great game. Man City will be delighted with the draw but a lot of positives for Liverpool. Allen and Sterling were great.
