Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Thoroughly deserved goal.

Who was picking up Skrtel? My stream kept freezing!

No idea there seemed to be quite a few players who were completely ignoring him.

Downside - who do we drop to play Sahin??

I would consider that an upside

You'd swear Sterling has been playing in that Liverpool squad for years.

Balotelli doesn't look like he wants to be out there!

Did they show Sahin's reaction to the goal?

Stevie Gerrard looks well up for this. Borini I think should get in the box!

That, in my opinion, is not only down to his talent but also the youth setup we have in place now. He has been playing left wing in a similar system/style since he joined the club and knows it inside out at this stage.

Reminds me of when the likes of Pedro or Busquets played first for Barcelona. Rafa's work, along with Rodolfo and Segura paying off it seems.

Kolo Toure is shíte. Dunno why Lescott was dropped. Yaya must have had a word.

Said at the start of the season that Man City looked vulnerable and think I am being proved right by this display.

    Nearly for Suarez.

    Allen has been fantastic.

    No shít Quinny.

I reckon if they outscore Liverpool for the rest of the match they could get at least a point.

Surely Silva has to come on in the 2nd half.

I said at the start of the season that the sky is blue and I'm being proved right. I'll just wait and see if it's still blue by the end though before jumping the gun.

Suarez would be some player if he'd work on his shooting!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,066 ✭✭✭Washington Irving

Second goal is gonna be vital, whoever scores it will win the game imo

If he plays 20 times like that this season then we will benefit greatly.

Borini looks sooooooooooooo far out of his depth!

Borini needs a good to keep the wolves from the door...

Doesn't need to be one specific player. Nuri Sahin is very versatile, he can play everywhere in midfield.

2:0 for Pool would be nice...or 3:0, just to settle those nerves of mine

You have to be impressed with Sterling, it's like watching Ryan Babel with a brain.

I've seen enough from him in the few games he's had to say that Charlie Adam can go right ahead and fcuk off.

Ref needs to stop blowing up for Balotelli dives! Goes down easier than Drogba...

Well deserved lead, should have been more.
City have been poor, long may it continue.

Pathetic diving from Balotelli - as if a big lump like him could be pushed off by a 17 year old kid who is 5ft nothing.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,337 ✭✭✭✭monkey9

Jaysus i enjoyed that half so much. We started off a bit slow but we've come into the match so well and are now just running amok. Allen looks a class act and Sterling doing whatever the hell he wants. Fantastic first half display.

Allen just looks amazing. Whatever the price was it looks worth it already.

    Serious about what?

Watch the incident again and watch Balotelli grab Sterlings shirt and drag him down.
