Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. Didn't think it was a dive myself tbh.

Oh right so he should just carry on running with sterling dangling from his arm .

City to win is 7/1 with Bet 365. Decent.

Great half of football from Liverpool, dominated the middle and pressed extremely hard for the ball; Allen, Gerrard and Sterling have been great.

    Same again second half please.

Feck off Mario with your diving

What I always find worse is the way the commentators manage to laugh it off calling it clever - Sky called Balotelli "cute" and said he was "showing his experience" or something along that line for that dive.

Why can't commentators just lambaste every lad who dives or goes down easily to get a free.

It's just so frustrating watching some lads playing when you know if they feel any sort of pressure they'll just fall over.

Why did BR spend £10.5m to get Borini?

Liverpool look absolute quality. Took ten to fifteen minutes to recover from Lucas' injury and haven't looked back.

It's pretty telling that the last regime's huge money quartet of Carroll, Downing, Adam and Henderson are nowhere near the pitch.

7/1 for city to win is a great price!

    Serious about what?

Watch the incident again and watch Balotelli grab Sterlings shirt and drag him down.

Come on out of that, Sterling had hold of Mario's arm as he was about to pull away from him. Stupid foul in a dangerous position.

Sterling was hanging on to him so the outcome was correct although Balotelli did go down easily.

City haven't shown up at all yet, second half could be a lot different.

Well impressed with that first half. Lots of players playing well.
Sterling and Gerard are very good but especially impressed with Allen. If he consistently plays like that, he'll have been easily worth the 15 million.

Joe Allen - 100% pass accuracy in the first half 21/21

Delighted with that first half display overall. We looked really up for this and played City totally off the park. Sterling was the obvious standout player, but props have to be given to Allen for not misplacing a single pass (at least that I can remember) and to Skrtel for thumping that header home from the corner. Also thought that Shelvey looked really good, got stuck in and show a mix of both long and short passing. Only negative for me was Suarez who still looks a little rusty. I am sure the goals will come though, he only needs one and he will go on a run.

Good first half, except for Lucas...hopefully it's nothing too serious. Sterling having a great game, think Downing might want to consider making his cameo at left back the other night a permanent thing.

And Martin Skrtel has scored more goals this season than the Arsenal team combined.

I don't think Jamie Redknapp gets the concept of zonal marking.

Deadly, foul correctly given. Move on without having to resort to lazy diver labels.

    Borini gets into great positions
he is a bit nervous & lost at times on the wing
but i do think he will score goals this season

I think his best position will be as the point man in the attack, playing off the shoulder of the last defender. Suarez never passing the ball isn't helping though.

Its quiet depressing how much of an improvement could be made to the current side if the above could be sold for what was paid for them.

Why are you still all going on about the Ballotelli incident.

It was Mario showing cuteness over Sterling.

    Nothing incident, move on.

No need for name calling as all players dive.

liverpool were fantastic that first half, what a great player allen looks like and sterling is full of energy. hope we can get a result here. worrying that on sky sports commentry they're saying ballotelli is making alot of good runs off the ball/camera. but so far so good..

It's very stressful watching Liverpool pass it around the back. Coates already got caught and Skrtel did last week as well.
Shelvey playing far better than during the week. Woeful, woeful tackler though, he really needs to get some discipline there.

Coates getting caught was Johnsons fault for playing the ball to him like that.

Scholes has got away with woeful tackles for almost 20 years, no reason Shelvey cant aswell, he is english afterall.

Definitely....also responsible for City's best chance when his pass was intercepted.
