Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I couldn't see this thread and was gonna start one with a title relating to kids being back to school.

1-0 Swansea! Jussi has had better moments in goal...

Another Premier League gameweek, another goalkeeping howler, this time from Jaaskelainen. How the likes of him and Rob Green continue to get games at the highest level is beyond me.

Swansea are so much fun to watch! Lucky to have not conceded at least one here

Should have at least one back. Swansea look awful from set pieces. Two mistakes have cost us. Apart from that, Swansea haven't really had a chance.
Cannot understand why Allardyce is playing Tomkins in midfield
Should see Vaz Te before the start of the second half.

Sunderland - Reading in doubt due to water in pitch.

    MATCH OFF.

From MOTM last week to this. Tomkins and Reid had great seasons last season. Dunno why Sam didn't persist with those two.

Looking like we're going back to our usual routine of being useless away from home.

Like seeing West Ham struggle. Game raisers.

that was a classy goal by Swansea, made West Ham players look like statues the way they passed the ball around them.

Jaaskelainen is just too old really, he was a very good keeper a few years ago.
Poor Collins is having a nightmare.

    Probably hungover...

Truly. When I looked at their teamsheet it seemed to me like I'd never heard of most of their squad. I assumed I was just out of touch and had a look around some forums where there seemed to be some optimism, some hoping for top 10, etc. Not to write them off too early, but they'll struggle to get 30 points playing like this.

Playing at home, 3-0 down, 33% possession and one pot-shot on goal in the whole half.

Yep and it was pretty much the same against West Ham. They've gone 4-4-2 this week and it's making zero difference.

The problems obviously run a lot deeper than McLeish.

Yeah he started on the bench, came on after about 75 minutes. Looks good, had one disallowed, offside by inches.

Confidence could be back. When Liverpool played passing football he was top notch, he last few months were plagued due to the tactics he was forced to play. Hate to say it, but he is now back in a footballing team at Chelsea. Just needs to build on his confidence.
