Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Is Probate required?

    Hi
Just wondering if probate is necessary? Spouse passed away leaving no assets, no property. The only thing I will get is a payout from a pension he once held. Do I need to go through the probate process?? I am the executor.

Very unlikely that you will have to extract a Grant of Probate based on the information you have given. The pension company will tell you their requirements but they will probably only require a copy of the Death Certificate.
